Over the last few months, we’ve ran a nice collection of t-shirt giveaways from the web’s leading t-shirt makers.  We’ve been joined by DesignByHumans, NerdyShirts, BustedTees, AttusApparel and more.  While we’ve got a few more t-shirt giveaways in the works, we’d like to take a break and share with you some of our favorite t-shirt blogs on the web.  In the future, we’ll be featuring some of these t-shirt bloggers as guests for our new T-Shirt Tuesday column.  For now, continue reading after the break for a list of t-shirt blogs that GearCrave loves.

This week, GearCrave is running a giveaway with DesignByHumans.com for 25 free t-shirts for GearCrave readers. We sat down with DesignByHumans co-founder Jason Gutierrez to talk about DesignByHumans, its inspiration, and a little bit about the man behind the business. For the uninitiated, describe the wonderment that is DesignByHumans.

DesignByHumans (DBH) is an online t-shirt design contest, community, and store where artists and graphic designers from around the world submit designs for a chance to win lots of cash and other cool stuff. Submitted designs are voted and commented on by the DBH community members to help decide which designs will be printed and sold in our online store. Each design has a chance of winning up to $3,500 in cash and prizes plus an additional $10,000 cash in royalties. A new winning design is announced each day of the week (Monday-Friday). Think American Idol meets t-shirt design.

As we just announced, GearCrave and Design By Humans are teaming up for one hell of a Spring t-shirt giveaway.  We’ll be featuring one of our favorites from DBH every day this week.  Today, we chose the Blackbird’s Attackin’ in the Dead ‘O’ Night.  This ornithophobes’ nightmare is a vivid black-and-white bird attack on a high quality cotton tee.  Hitchcock fans and stylish folk alike will recognize this one as an instant classic.  We certainly did, this one is earning a place in our very own closet…
