ISO50 presets the London ‘68 shirt in all its analog retro glory. The fact that it’s screen-printed on an American Apparel shirt and is 100% sweatshop-free makes this even cooler. ISO50 has a whole series of great, retro-looking prints, shirts, album covers, you name it. The style is unmistakable once you’ve seen enough of these old-school goodies.

Amp Street’s limited editions instantly identifable. The “Bird Bellt” for example. The odd mispelling of the word “belt,” pre-stressed look, the M.C. Escher-esque flying birds, and that big Amp logo…perfect for your turn at Guitar Hero, punk rock karaoke, anything that requires you to dress the part with one part Clash and one part Shins in your fashion statement. Because these are limited, better snap ‘em up while you can.

This is not on the market–yet. It’s been the talk of the blogs, though and a preliminary glance at the Nike M-65 Patchwork jacket specs reveals this will be a unique winter garment indeed. No two will be alike due to the application of a variety of different patchwork pieces to the design. Notice that the patchwork is seamless and expertly incorporated into the overall design. Some of these have been released–a bit of viral marketing perhaps? We’ll have to wait for word from Nike on if/when this finally drops. We can’t envision this lasting as a “friends and family only” creation for very long.

Fall has reared its ugly head. ‘Tis the season to resurrect your winter clothing, including your winter jackets, gloves, hats– and sweaters. Your sweaters have taken a beating since March, and they look like absolute fuzzy hell. Fortunately there’s a handy little gadget made just for making those sweaters presentable again. The Alessi Piripicchio sweater shaver is good for anything that gets “pilly.” Those funny little balls of fabric bunching on your suit jackets? The shaver gets rid of those unsightly little things, and has a cool modern look. Don’t you dare take a pair of big, rude scissors to your good clothes, use the Alessi - that’s what it’s designed for!

The F13 Top Cat messenger bag design by Freitag wins awards for both style and sustainable living. How many tires do you throw away in a lifetime? How many seatbelts have you worn? These bags are made of materials from both, recycled into this excellent line in the variety of shapes and sizes shown here. You can even design your own bag instead of choosing one of these! The Top Cat is rugged; it’s both water AND messenger-proof. It holds a Macbook when unextended, and Freitag claims the extended version can hold a small human. If you find out if this is true, we don’t want to know.

Chrome makes messenger bags for real live bike messengers and “urban mobility”. To those of us not doing messenger service, that means stylish but rugged bags and packs you can use on the rough morning ride on public transit, that six block walk from parking to the office, your tri-state business trip. Since these were designed specifically for the beatings that bike messengers will give ‘em, you can rest assured a Chrome bag will survive the concrete jungle with gadgets and paperwork intact. Prices vary, depending on size and accessories.

Sometimes a picture really is worth a thousand words, especially in the case of this men’s black leather duffle by Dolce And Gabbana. No further elaboration needed, just look at that photograph and try to resist. Just you try.

High-grade stainless steel, inches on the outside, metric on the inside. This is a on-inch wide, seven inches-long, adjustable bracelet by Individual Icons. One size fits all, at least around the wrist. Don’t ask us what you’d want to measure with this, we just like how it looks on the arm, fella.

Quite stylish, yet functional. A great fashion statement for hip DIY home improvement types or guys who just like. . . measuring stuff.

We thought we were getting the insider dirt. Somebody over at NerdyShirts.com whispered to us that Thursday the NerdyShirts crew is giving away HUNDREDS of FREE Beatbuckles - that kickass belt that holds your iPod, making you look like you got some kind of designer Apple clothing hook-up.
“We’ve got a secret code we’re giving to the first five hundred people who sign up for our NerdyShirts.com newsletter by Wednesday.” Our little NerdyShirts snoop told us, and we got very excited cuz we thought we were getting an exclusive. Imagine how bummed we were that it was all over the NerdyShirts website before we could publish! WE BEEN DISSED, YO.
Still, the offer is VERY sweet, and a few of the Cravers have already signed up for the newsletter. Hook us up, Nerds. We’ve given you PLENTY of love in the last few months. There is still time for you to sign up, but our little source in the NerdyShirts camp says these free BeatBuckles could go pretty fast once the word gets out. Don’t wait.

Summer’s gone, yo. We know that September 23 is the “official” start of fall, but let’s face it, the passing of Labor Day weekend means it’s all over but the shouting. Time to think long sleeves, hoodies, pumpkins, and roasting marshmallows. Here’s a list of wearables we’re eyeing now that summer is more or less dead-n-gone:

The gray Smile! Sweatshirt from No Star matches everything you own, so there’s no worries about what to pair it up with. Buy for $36

The Tie Hoodie from Nerdyshirts is just the thing. From a distance, you look like one of the guys in Interpol. Up close, you look sorta like one of the Superbad crew. Two fashion statements at once. Buy for $29.95

Last, but certainly not least, we roll back into Darth’s hood(ie) with this hilarious little number. Show who you rollin’ wit, and the hood will recognize. DARTHSIIIIDE!
