Stanley Ruiz Twig Jewelry and Design

Brooklyn’s own Stanley Ruiz knows the plight of urban living all too well. Where a little bit of nature goes a long way, Ruiz’s simple, natural jewelry and design gives life to any sterile city environment. Stanley’s Twig Jewelry was first shown at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in NYC in May to wide acclaim. While these designs may not shatter convention, they do take a simple approach to giving your life a little more naturalism. Ruiz cites the inspirations of “walking, improv music, and Thureau”. Following in HDT’s footsteps, we’re likely to make our own before buying these– but we still need to salute Stanley Ruiz for a take on natural design that is surprisingly simple at its core.
