VUDU: Now with 1080p Goodness
Thursday, October 2, 2008 12:00PM - By Mike Payne

Fans and prospective customers of VUDU will be happy to learn that the internet video-on-demand service will now be offering 1080p resolution rentals. Starting with 65 titles, then continuing with every new release, VUDU customers can view movies at the highest resolutions available. There is one snag– due to the sheer size of these 1080p videos, there is a four hour download time. As long as you plan ahead, you’ll be able to watch the latest films in all their 1080p glory. New VUDU customers will also be glad to know that VUDU is offering a $200 credit off of the normal $300 system, available at BestBuy. [vudu]
