The Classic: Eames Plywood Lounge Chair
Monday, August 20, 2007 8:03AM - By J. Wallace
Back in the 40s, Ray and Charles Eames experimented with and ultimately perfected wood molding until they were able to create this classic lounge chair. Called the LCW, this was a very big breakthrough in design and is still imitated to this day. This chair is not one of those imitations. It’s a certified, made-in-USA, licensed special edition LCW which comes with a certificate of authenticity. The LCW’s veneer is made from the exotic Brazilian rosewood called santos palisander and will add class to any collection. Don’t delay too long on this one, these chairs are certified “authentic” during the first year of production.
