Sony HomeShare: 1TB of Media and Data Backup
Tuesday, October 7, 2008 1:34PM - By Emily Price

Sony has announced its new Sony Home Share (VGF-HS1E) storage device. Sure, it bears a striking resemblance to the Roomba, but this is no vaccuum… This 1 terabyte drive is designed to be a “huge central repository” for all your families photos, videos and music– and can be used to store as well as simply back-up your families data. Data can be accessed from computers in your home network, as well as remotely through the internet. The device is expected to go on sale in Europe later this year for a little under $900.
