Sigma DP1 14 Megapixel Camera
Monday, February 18, 2008 9:00AM - By J. Wallace
Sigma’s high-end point and shoot DP1 digital camera is quite different than the $150 entry-level point and shoot cameras is a major way–it has a much more powerful image sensor. In fact, the sensor in the DP1 is comparable to the more sophisticated digital SLRs like the Sigma SD14. What does that mean? MUCH better photographs, rich in detail and with better color reproduction, without the complexity of the digital SLR cameras. You get the convenience of the old point-and-shoot with the crystal clarity of those more expensive models. This is in pre-order mode until March 25th, and it will likely fly off the shelves just in time for the spring thaw.
Pre-order for $799.99
