The New 3G Apple iPhone

The 3G Apple iPhone was announced today by Steve Jobs at the WWDC 2008. The new Apple iPhone is available for $199 starting July 11th, and features thinned edges, a plastic back end, metallic buttons, a 3.5-inch display, a camera, and improved audio. It has a faster wi-fi system than the older iPhones, a longer battery life, built-in GPS and more. More coming, GearCravers. Stay tuned!

This is not a “Third Generation iPhone.” Its actually a second gen. 3G refers to the data network it opperates on, not the revision of the phone.
