In iPod news NOT related to the iTouch, the Nano has a brand new version, with a two-inch video screen and a variety of colors including black, dark red, silver, and
that Project Red color that everyone now associates with Bono’s ugly mug rather than the cause it’s supposed to be helping. 149 bucks for the 4GB model in silver only and just under $200 for the 8GB version. These should be in stores this weekend, according to reports.
Also announced is a revamped edition of the original iPod, called the iPod Classic. The latest reports mention an 80GB model priced at just under $250, and there is a 160GB version which can hold 40 hours of audio.
