It’s Official: Dell Netbooks Get 3G
Tuesday, November 25, 2008 2:14PM - By Jared Newman

Now that the iPhone has turned 3G into all the rage, we’re starting to see a resurgence of laptops with this mobile Web capability. Dell’s Inspiron Mini 9, which is already 3G-enabled in European models, is now bringing the same functions to U.S. consumers. Sorry Vista users, but 3G only works on Windows XP versions of the laptop. For $125, this 9-inch netbook can be equipped with embedded Wireless Wide Area Network, but if you commit to a two-year service contract with AT&T, you can get a $120 rebate. [Crave]
