Canon Vixia HF10 High-Def Flash Memory Camcorder
Tuesday, January 8, 2008 7:01AM
CES 2008 hype includes the buzz on Canon’s new line of tape-free High-Def camcorders like the Vixia HF10 Dual Flash Memory recorder. The Vixia HF10 gives you the option to record to the internal flash drive or an external SDHC card. No tape transport means one of the biggest problems with owning a camcorder is done away with; the tape transport system that gets dirty or worn out and eventually eats your tapes. If we could just get Canon to make one that runs on solar power so we can dispense with the battery-changing issue, shooting video would be almost hassle-free.
