The Iriver Spinn: Priced and Ready

While the Iriver Spinn will certainly give the iPod Touch a run for its money, it won’t do so by saving it’s buyers any cash… Where the 8GB iPod Touch is on the market for $229, the 8GB Spinn will run $289, with the smaller 4GB version priced at $249. Why the added expense? While we haven’t yet gotten our hands on one to play with, the Spinn promises to be even cooler than the iPod Touch. The touchscreen technology is there, but this brushed-metal badass features a slick OS, a spinner control module, bluetooth and DAB radio (although the latter has not been confirmed for the US model). If you think iTunes is a world of suck and want something a bit more open– you can get a PMP that will make the iPod Touch blush. [via crave]
