Tokyo glassware maker Hario is showing off a pair of speakers that are worth more than some people’s homes. The glass speaker set costs nearly $170,000 and took 23 subcontractors three years and eight months to hand make (which I guess accounts for the price– you’re paying 23 salaries for over three years).  The speaker set is currently Japan only, in case you were looking to drop a $170k on getting a set of these as a Christmas present this holiday season.
