Aurora Open Source DJ Mixer

If music is the life of the party, the DJ mixer is its pulse. Whether the input is two turntables, an iPod or a laptop, DJs control the tempo of the party with the knobs and faders of a DJ mixer. Until now, mixers have been pretty-straightforward: they include at least two channels, a cross-fader, equalizers, volume knobs and a headphone cue output. The Aurora Open Source DJ Mixer breaks this mold completely. This glowing, USB-connected mixer has three faders, eight backlit buttons and 24 backlit knobs. While they are arranged in the familiar DJ mixer framework, these knobs and buttons are fully assignable. This gives DJ’s the power to control effects, EQ or any other parameter they want in any arrangement they want. What does that mean for you? The party just got even funkier, thanks to this very cool, very liberating “open gadget”…
