Machu Picchu 1

If the idea of getting away to a tropical paradise in the middle of summer’s heat doesn’t sound refreshing, we’ve got an idea that might.  In the mountains of Peru rests one of the greatest ruined cities of the world, the Incas’ Machu Picchu.  Once home to 1,000 Incas, Machu Picchu went undiscovered by Spanish invaders until its re-discovery in the early 1900s.  Since that discovery, this mountain city has been a top destination of archaeo-travelers across the world.  While seeing this amazing ruin with your own eyes is truly an experience of a lifetime, getting there will be just as memorable.  We suggest the three day hike through the mountains on the Inca Trail.  This hike will be an unforgettable experience, climbing though some of the most breathtaking scenery you’ll ever get the chance to photograph.  This trip is only for the adventurous, those with a strong spirit and an able body.  Book in advance, the Peruvian government has limited the number of daily travelers on the Inca Trail.  Flights to Lima, Peru run daily from Miami and Los Angeles.
