  • 7 Amy Post // May 5, 2008 at 3:47 pm

These USB drives are so cool! The fact that you can pick the wood and personalize them make them a unique gift (even if you gift one to yourself).

Looks sweet, but I wonder if it’ll give me splinters when I plug it in.

  • 9 Bo // May 5, 2008 at 4:08 pm

  • 10 whazzup969 // May 5, 2008 at 4:12 pm

Very sweet looking drives. This would be a great way to reuse wood scrapes from furniture productions!

  • 11 Mr. Fantastic // May 5, 2008 at 4:13 pm

    Simply fantastic.

  • 12 PotatoFro // May 5, 2008 at 4:22 pm

dang that is one sweet piece of wood/electronics

  • 13 Som // May 5, 2008 at 4:24 pm

Like an engraved lighter, it would look good and be useful in many environments.

  • 14 Joseph // May 5, 2008 at 4:27 pm

I never thought I would use woody, hand crafted and USB drive in the same sentence. But I wouldn’t mind using a woody, handcrafted, USB drive.

  • 15 Dave // May 5, 2008 at 4:34 pm

    Very clean! Like the idea

  • 16 Drew Buddie // May 5, 2008 at 4:55 pm

My username on many websites is ‘woodenrabbit’ so on that basis alone I deserve to win one of these USB sticks :D
Seriously though, I love the design of these and its good to see USB stick designers being ever more inventive with the staple of every computer users armoury. One of my pupils came into class with a heart shaped locket from Swarovski costing c.$200 (£100) and that looked crass compared to THIS piece of wondrous technology!

Wow, and we just missed earth day!

  • 18 Aaron // May 5, 2008 at 5:12 pm

That’s insane, I love it. I wonder what kind of protection they get from bumps and scrapes. For me, carrying all my photos and work on one stick is big, but protection is even bigger. Can you say fireproof?

  • 19 phil // May 5, 2008 at 5:38 pm

These drives are killer! I’d love one (hint hint)

  • 20 esswong // May 5, 2008 at 6:38 pm

those are pretty sick. it’s definitely a good change from the general plastic covered usb sticks that we’re all embarrassed to carry around. it also provokes some environmental awareness, though not possibly fully intended.

  • 21 Zip // May 5, 2008 at 8:17 pm

    it looks awesome

At first I was going to just blow this off, but after seeing the pic of the drives I was surprised to see how cool and unique they really were.

  • 25 Jay // May 5, 2008 at 8:57 pm

I’d love to win one of those. It’s a great look.

  • 26 Carlos Santiago // May 5, 2008 at 9:37 pm

    By having a handcrafted usb,

you can look sophisticated and smart. Which is

hard to pull off to a girl with any usb that’s not wood or metal.

  • 27 Feste // May 5, 2008 at 11:08 pm

They’re like little wooden mysteries. I don’t think anyone would expect a flash drive in that sort of case.

    Groovy, I say.

  • 28 Rampai // May 5, 2008 at 11:10 pm

So unique! I am keeping my fingers crossed all week!

Neato. I like that they have a personal touch. The wood is not just any type of wood, and it’s hand-crafted.
