Temple of Doom scene where the evil priest pulls the guy’s heart out…I still believe it’s possible.
Monday, May 19, 2008 3:43PM
The scene where Indy almost gets his heart ripped out of his chest was Crazy scary… I saw it when I was like 10.
Monday, May 19, 2008 3:43PM
I would not even try to pick a scene because there are so many to choose from. That goes to show how great this franchise is, not to mention how much of an American icon Indiana Jones is.
Monday, May 19, 2008 3:48PM
Indiana Jones is great! I love Short Round! Can’t wait to see the new one
Monday, May 19, 2008 3:53PM
My favorite is the classic “fight” scene in Raiders. Swings the sword, tiredly pulls out the gun, the crowd cheers. I hope the new one keeps the feel of the series rather than cashing in.
Monday, May 19, 2008 4:01PM
The truck chase in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Greatest. Truck Fight. Ever.
Monday, May 19, 2008 4:12PM
The bar scene between Indy and Marion in Nepal, from RAIDERS is one of my favorite scenes of the series and of all time.
Monday, May 19, 2008 4:57PM
“Dr. Jones, Dr. Jones!!!!”
“Junior!!”
“Ahh… Venice.”
I love these movies!
Monday, May 19, 2008 5:10PM
My favorite scene is when Jones is questing for the holy grail and they make their way down into the tombs under the library, and then the entire oil sewer gets lit on fire.( It’s quite a beautifully done scene in terms of camera work.)
Monday, May 19, 2008 5:33PM
“Snakes. Why’d it have to be snakes? “
Monday, May 19, 2008 6:38PM
my favorite indiana jones movie ever was temple of doom. i had to have watched that movie hundreds of times as a kid. my favorite part was when they woke up and the pilots bailed, and they jumped out of the plane in an inflatable raft skidded down the snow slopes and into the river. freeeeeaking EPIC. i always used to imagine that was me as shortround sliding down the slopes with indie and whats her face.

The swashbuckling turka wearing fella who Indy just plain shot always made me laugh..
Last Crusade where he knocks out the german general (i think he was a general) stating NO TICKETS, where all the germans then started waving their tickets
Monday, May 19, 2008 7:53PM
So many to pick from. I get such a great sense of nostalgia watching the Indiana Jones movies again, yet they feel so timeless. I’d have to say any of the scenes w/ Indiana Jones and Dr. Henry Jones interacting would be my favorite. The dialog was hilarious!
I also loved when Indiana Jones jumped on the tank before it went over the cliff and he climed back up the vine.
Monday, May 19, 2008 9:14PM
One of the best scenes is in the Last Crusade, when Indy’s father takes down the German plane by scaring the seagulls so they fly up in front of it.
Monday, May 19, 2008 10:54PM
I think it was Temple of Doom, when they are eating what looks like a monkey brain slurpie out of a monkey head mug… yum
Monday, May 19, 2008 11:04PM
My fave movie would be the Temple of Doom. I just liked the whole team with the chinese boy and that lady. They were fun and funny.
Monday, May 19, 2008 11:56PM
So hard to choose…, but the scene from Temple of Doom - “Snake surprise and chilled monkey brains”, always amused ( and disgusted) me, and later Indy gave that lady an apple, O Indy ~heart~

It’s tough for me not to pick one of the great fight sequences….but my #1 favorite has to be when Indy come face-to-face with Hitler. Its the best scene because Indy (and you) think that the gig is up, but then Hitler grabs the diary, you expect him to yell to arrest him, but he signs an autograph instead! genius! The punch line makes me laugh every time i watch the movie.

I don’t know about you guys, but I would prefer
the original rather than the remake.
Tuesday, May 20, 2008 7:31PM
Well…there’s a bunch of good bits through them all. I would say just the iconic portrait shots of Indy placing that dirty brown fedora back on his head. Like Rambo tying the headband; it’s just something that screams Indiana Jones.
Tuesday, May 20, 2008 8:41PM
My favorite Indiana Jones thing, has to be the ride at Disneyland…. The Indiana Jones ride there is awesome!
Wednesday, May 21, 2008 1:38PM
I love in the first one when he just shoots the man who’s doing the fancy swordwork, and in the third when we find out he was named after his dog.

I loved the bar fight scene with Marion. She kicks ass!
Thursday, May 22, 2008 9:09PM
I love when he tries to run out of the temple and he has to dodge rolling rock balls bigger than himself as well as all the action in the movies…very action pact from beginning to end.
Friday, May 23, 2008 12:22PM
temple of doom has some sweet scenes

The snakes…who can forget the snakes
Friday, May 23, 2008 8:50PM
I really like in Last Crusade where Indy tells the class that ‘X’ never marks the spot and then in the library, it actually does.
Friday, May 23, 2008 10:24PM
heart ripped from chest is the best. i totally did that to a guy once. it was awesome. no, seriously.
Saturday, May 24, 2008 1:02PM
So, I actually liked the new movie, even if it was a little ridiculous. And I also actually liked the Shia-monkey ridiculousness. It made me say: oh what the hell? Just like the KALI-MA!! KALI-MA!!
Saturday, May 24, 2008 1:22PM
when the guys heart was ripped out. that has to be everyone’s fav
Saturday, May 24, 2008 3:05PM
“Cover your heart, Indy…” That’s all I have to say.
Some of the stuff from Crystal Skull was pretty rad though. Like Mutt turning into a total badass like halfway through the film?
Sunday, May 25, 2008 9:26AM
I loved the Crystal Skull as well, for all its blatant impossibilities and stretched belief. The snake as a rope made me laugh for far too long…
Sunday, May 25, 2008 10:05PM
The scene where he chose and drank from the butt-ugliest chalice taught me about life and made a man out of me.

I loved the fight scene in the original movie where Indy pulls the the gun out against the guy with the swords.
