Uncut is great for the articles, but the thing that makes this magazine the real deal for us is the CD that comes with every issue. So much great music on these discs…many people’s first introduction to lesser-known acts like Sparklehorse and Bentley Rhythm Ace plus obscure gems from legends including Robyn Hitchcock, The Jam, Ry Cooder, Johhny Cash, too many to name. Uncut’s reporting is top-notch; the music selection is even better. The coverage ranges from Jurassic Rock to cutting edge indie, a cornucopia of good names in music.
