Turn of your iPod, push it to the side, and prepare your ears for something truly new. You deserve a break from your oh-too-familiar music library. Just over a year ago, we found ParisDjs.com by chance. We were on the hunt for something fresh and new, and ended up bumping into ParisDjs, and since then we’ve listened to these mixes more times than we can count. ParisDjs.com is a DJ mix podcast website featuring mixes by a large selection of DJs across the globe. You won’t find annoying, cheesy dance music on ParisDJs, only soul, funk, reggae, rare groove, classic hip hop and more.

When we first came to ParisDJs, we found hip hop originator Steinski’s “A Rough Mix” mix-album, which is our personal favorite yet in their collection. That is as good a starting point as any. Check out the ParisDJs post on that, and here’s a direct link to the mp3. (Wait until the 2:37 mark, now that’s some good old hip hop nostalgia…)
