Rubik’s Mirror: Multi-Dimensional Rubik’s Cube

That shiny little object isn’t a statue or a meaningless knick knack– it twists and folds into itself at the whim of its owner.  A new take on the classic Rubik’s Cube, Rubik’s Mirror has segments of different sizes, not colors.  When twisting this cube apart, it forms an uncountable number of shapes, a variety of eye candy limited only by the mathematic creativity of its owner.  To start, Rubik’s Mirror comes in the same shape as a classic Rubik’s cube.  The most recognizable difference is that the cuts between the segments are spaced differently, providing for small segments and large segments alike.  Youtube vid after the jump… [via boingboing]
