With the NBA playoffs in full swing and the summer starting to scorch most of the country, its time to get hot with the dunk’nest comedy of 2008, Will Ferrell’s Semi Pro.  While Semi Pro was another “Will Ferrell Playing That One Douchebag Character” movie, Ferrell proves that formula does not get old.  Ferrell shares the camera with Woody Harrelson (no stranger to this type of comedy, thanks to Kingpin) and newcomer Andre’ Benjamin.  This movie has a little bit for everybody, but a whole lot for basketball fans and Ferrell-followers.  If you’ve been awaiting this release, today is the day– get yours on DVD or Blu Ray from Amazon.
