Andrew Weaving’s impressive book on Modernism (co-authored with Lisa Freedman) doesn’t just give you the low-down on Mid-Century, Pop, Post-Modern and other movements in modern design, you also get 200 amazing photographs and a list of the sites that are open to the public. Want to tour Frank Lloyd Wright’s home and studio in Oak Park Illinois? That’s just one of the many sites on Weaving’s list. From the early days in the Bauhaus studio and onward, this book is a treat for anyone who loves modernism.

That book looks great - and Frank Lloyd Wright’s home in Oak Park is definitely worthy of inclusion (there are a number of FLW buildings in Oak Park, actually).
