The Timothy Ben Slice Table

When this floating modern mammoth isn’t chasing escaped gamers around the world of Tron, its doing Master Control’s bidding in your own living room. The Timothy Ben Furniture Slice Table appears to float ominously in the center of your living space with a chip on its shoulder. Not a chip, per se, but a slice– an angular cut gives the Slice Table a level of minimalist character that makes it the centerpiece it is. Just don’t try and disobey this one, you don’t want your program deleted…

This is an excellently designed piece of furniture. The reference to the movie “Tron” is well noted and would please my friend Syd Mead who was a main designer for the graphics and other items used in that movie.
The plinth base is most effective in making this table appear to float off the floor despite its obvious solidity and weight. Even though it has distinctively sharp corners, including along the slice area, it doesn’t appear threatening for any accidental bumps into it.
Very nice design that will fit in well with a lot of environments. My compliments to the designer.
