Steve Watson Skase Tea Cup
Where our international friends have tea, we have our rich, black coffee. We do it in true American spirit– bold and fresh with the occasional kick of sugar and cream. We salute our caffeine addiction with a handful of dollar bills at Starbucks– yet other societies celebrate their mornings and afternoons quite differently: with a cup of tea. The Japanese, in fact, celebrate caffeine with a much higher resolve. The Japanese phrase “zencha ichimi” translates to English as “tea and Zen are one”. Our friend Steve Watson obviously believes this with the very fiber of his being. His Skase tea cup is a testament to what our daily caffeine ritual can be to our lives.
