Phillip Grass takes a unique approach to tried-and-true furniture designs. The one pictured above is called the Landing, and is constructed from bent stainless steel, fiberglass and leather. This design is a prototype, but Glass has fully realized projects that are just as fascinating to look at. Phillip Glass does offer a nod to the classic looks of yesteryear with a traditional-looking old-style wooden chair, but that one seems to be the joker in this particular deck. When the Landing hits market, there are plenty of modern design fanatics chomping at the bit to get prices and delivery dates.
