Nighttime Grilling Will Never Be The Same

August 3rd, 2007 by J. Wallace · 2 Comments

Maverick Cordless Grill light

The midnight barbecue just got a hell of easier to see. Not only does this built-for-outdoor-use LED battery-powered portable grill light last 50, 000 hours, it also shows you exactly what that cooking meat really looks like. If you were hoping for medium-rare, and wound up with singed-n-smoking instead, blame it on the yellowish glow of that crummy flashlight. Toss it back in your toolbox and try the coolest culinary development since the cavemen accidentally dropped a bronto-burger into the campfire. The stainless steel and special plastic construction means no worries about a little rainwater or flying beer.

I bought one like this from Sharper Image and if you side tray has a lip, it has a tendency to tip over. I found a better one from Wal-Mart with 3 magnetic feet to use.

Great point Shane. Take his advice, Cravers– if your grill has a lip, this thing will tip! Thanks so much for the reference, Shane!
