Martin Sprouse 3 Chord Desk

A common knock on modern furniture like this is that it is “different just for the sake of being different”. The extending wood on the Martin Sprouse 3 Chord Desk is certainly different, but does it provide any concrete utility? In this case, it certainly does. If this were in our office, the wood extension in the rear of this desk would hold our table lamp, the piece to the side would support a leafy green plant and the piece to our side would be perfect for food, drink or otherwise. The business end of this table stays in white– as do our office supplies, keyboard, mouse and monitor. We’ll have more from Martin Sprouse in the coming weeks.
