While the honeycomb is one of natures most impressive feats of engineering, it is also one of the most pleasing to the eye. Italian clock designers Diamantini & Domeniconi recognize the latter in their use of a honeycomb pattern in their Layershex Clock. The Layershex Clock comes in a few different finishes, but we chose the dark wood as shown above. We’ll likely feature many more of D&D’s clocks in the coming weeks, they certainly have some gems in their collection. For the Layershex Clock, we suggest placing it offset from your lighting to bring out the shadows as shown above…
