Balmuda Highwire 1100 Desk Lamp
Thursday, January 3, 2008 7:02AM
Balmuda’s Highwire 1100 desk lamp gives 1000 lux worth of light and will function up to a whopping 50,000 hours. The marketing hype for this says the lamp is designed to give off the same color light as your computer monitor, which is supposed to reduce eyestrain. It also has a “slow on/off” mode that gradually lights up your work space when switched on, and slowly dims when you turn it off. Balmuda claims this is the brightest desk lamp in the world and while we wouldn’t know for sure, we do know it looks pretty tasty next to that Mac, doesn’t it?
