We’ve covered CyberOptix ties a few times here on GearCrave, and we must say we’ve yet to find a better designer. They’re at the peak of their game, designing some amazing ties that add the perfect focus to any formal wardrobe. Our latest favorite is the Cut Throat Tie. A little ironic, seeing as you’re going to fasten this one around your neck. But the design speaks volumes. This is yet another great pattern from CyberOptix, and we’ve got to get this one around our neck.

There’s nothing like the sounds of an analog synth. Ask Trent Reznor, Ladytron, Devo or anybody else who puts keyboard sounds into their music. With these great keyboard microfiber neckties from Etsy, you can make a fashion statement AND a musical one. This is a great addition to the wardrobe of a bedroom synth noodler or just someone who digs the bands using Moog, Waldorf and EMS (the synth on the ties is an EMS). It’s hard to dress down the bow tie, by J. Press has managed to pull it off. Their new line of emblematic bow ties takes the formal style we’ve come to expect from the bow tie and combines it with hip and fun designs and emblems to give it a new ‘tude. The skull and crossbones bow tie can be worn with your favorite tux, or paired with a button up and dark jeans for a more casual look. Figuring out how to tie the thing is a whole other issue.

Have you ever craved that hobo-chic look? Now you can have it! Hickey’s “40 in a paper bag” tie will put you in style and let everyone know that you like to party. Set on a skinny, solid-colored tie, a small 40 oz. bottle in a paper bag is sewn at the sternum, for a look that you can wear out on the town or on casual Fridays.
