While its likely you’ve never heard of Ronn Motors before, if this car fulfills its promises that brand may become a household name. The Ronn Motors Scorpion goes from zero to sixty in 3.5, but does so with a 40mpg hydrogen hybrid engine. The HHO engine, also known as “hydrogen injection” or “water4gas”, is a controversial technology, which generates small amounts of hydrogen that are introduced into the fuel mixture for a more efficient, powerful burn. This technology has been written off in the past, but Ronn Motors is aiming for a limited run of the Scorpion on the road by early 2009.
