Say what you will about the political and economic impact of ethanol fuel, it has quite a history in performance auto racing. The higher octane rating of ethanol fuels allows for more efficient production, better performing engines and a cleaner fuel system. In observing this history and embracing the eco-friendly opportunities of biofuels, Mazda has developed this stunning performance car concept. The Mazda Furai concept runs on E100 ethanol (meaning zero petroleum added), providing for high performance racing. While we’re waiting on the racing stats of this supercar, we’re going to drool over the gallery after the jump… [thanks inhabitat]
