Fellow Verizon subscribers will agree that although we have the best network around (wanna fight about it?), the phones available to us are boring. Lately that’s been changing with the introduction of the BlackBerry Storm but Verizon isn’t stopping there. Next month the carrier will roll out the Samsung Omnia, Saga, and the sexy HTC Touch Pro. Your PS3 probably looks like everyone elses. Black. That is, unless you decided to shell out $1700+ for this crazy modified console with a Metal Gear Solid 4 theme. Said PS3 rocks a carbon fiber digital camouflage pattern with custom artwork and laser cut stainless steel lettering. The whole thing is illuminated with 15 white LED’s to create a cool, stealthy look. The bidding is still going strong with 6 days left in the auction but hey, at least the shipping is free! Every road warrior needs a USB flash drive in their arsenal. The DataTraveler 150 fits the bill nicely with a spacious 32GB capacity and an attractive orange case. It’s available right now from the Kingston site for a fair $140. [via Kingston]

You think your all-black home theater setup will impress people? This Copper LCD from Vizio will add a splash of style to your super gaudy bachelor pad on the cheap. It’s pretty standard as far as TV’s go, sporting 1080p and a 6500:1 contrast ratio. The 32 and 37 inch versions retail for $650 and $850, respectively. [via AcuireMag]

Now, here’s a piece of house-hold technology that hasn’t recieved an update in a while. This new take on the digital scale will make you feel even worse after the holidays; what with being able to not only tell you how heavy you are, but how much space you take up as well. It can also detect muscle mass and water weight. Where does it get that information? I have no clue. These are great improvements to something that could help you stay in shape. I think WiFi for monitoring weight and other measurements would be pretty cool, though. [Digital Scale via DVice]

Motorola phones aren’t as stylish as they used to be, but this v70 look-alike pulls off the switchblade design quite nicely. Part of the reason that the v70 looked so terrible was because it had a square monochrome screen in the center, which made the circular design look awkward. Motorola improved this flaw by introducing the “world’s first” full color circular LCD display. It doesn’t stop there though, the screen is coated in 62-carat sapphire to prevent scratches. But really, $2,000? This could have been a good way to remind the consumer of why we fell in love with Moto in the first place. I think it’s safe to say: “this isn’t going to sell”. I’m not into gadget cases too much, they can often weigh a device down, make it larger, and almost always transform sleek technology into just plain ugly. When it comes to Incase, however, that’s not the case. Their new Metallic Slider Case protects your 3G iPhone in style. Offering the protection of padded plastic and style of a smooth metallic paintjob. It comes in four different colors and is available now for $35. [Incase]

The Eee has come a long way since its first release. The new models are actually starting to resemble adult-minded mobile systems, and I like it. The Eee S101 is a fashion minded, super-slim Netbook which sports a 10.2 inch 1024×600 display and all the fixings of its high-end competitors: Atom N270 CPU, 1GB RAM, 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.0, and a hybrid storage system which includes both an SSD and HDD. It’s a little on the expensive side at $700 but, these are very welcome updates. [via Engadget]

We’ve all seen our fair share of crazy phone concepts but this one made me cringe a little while completely destroying my already bleak outlook on the world of technology. It’s really just a base with what looks like two charging stations for chrome caps which are placed on the thumb and index finger to make and recieve calls. Oh and dial pads? Forget about ‘em. In the future, numbers will be replaced with shapes and patterns that have to be traced onto a touchscreen. Wonderful. Also, everything in the future will be chrome. Everything. [via Core77]
