Act Fire Extinguisher is Aesthetically Pleasing

Why reinvent the wheel when it comes to fire extinguishers? Because maybe there’s a market for fire prevention tools that are so easy on the eyes, people will want to keep them within arms reach instead of hidden away. That’s the idea behind the Act Fire Extinguisher, designed by Oslo School of Architecture and Design student Sigrun Vik. If you do leave it in an obscure location, and you happen to have a wireless fire alarm system, the Act will flash. It’s not totally clear how to operate this creation, but presumably its intuitive enough to beat fumbling through a closet for a standard fire extinguisher. [PlayMeDesign via Dvice]
