Emtec showcases a new netbook

Just what the world needed-another netbook. Emtec is showing off a new Linux-based netbook called the Gdium. The 10-inch computer has 512MB of RAM, WiFi, VGA-out, and an integrated webcam. The computer ships with open office, Firefox and Thunderbird, some instant-messaging clients, as well as a “blog editor.” The 2.5 pound netbook is expected to be available for under $400 in either while, black, or pink. There are literally tons of netbooks on the market now. Do you think netbooks are the wave of the future, or do you think the market is going to eventually become saturated with them? [via Crave]
