Alesis shipping MasterControl audio interface

Computer musicians will certainly want to take note of this.  Alesis has started shipping its MasterControl audio interface and control surface. The device offers users 44.1 to 192kHz recording capabilities, has two XLR inputs with phantom power and channel inserts, six TRS line inputs, and expansion capabilities. The device comes with two software applications for recording and sequencing: Steinberg Cubase LE4 and Ableton Live Lite 7 and is expected to be priced somewhere between $900 and $1300.
