<description>Very interesting and creative! Johnson Controls provides more than just seats and electronics, as the reporter indicated. They are a large company not well-known outside the automotive industry. With its Michigan locations (Plymouth, MI &amp; Holland, MI) they have two excellent design centers that are highly regarded by the auto companies.

Johnson Controls bought out Prince Industries, upon the death of its owner, and create and manufacture headliners, sunvisors, instrument panels (often mistakenly call &quot;dash boards&quot;), door trim panels, arm rests, interior handles and knobs, seats, rear package trays (that shelf right below the back window), and provide formed carpeting for the floor, etc.

All said, they can provide the entire interior and are leading edge. This appears to be their first foray into a show car and it looks well done from this report. Somehow, knowing their creativity by having worked for the auto companies in their design studios, this should not have been a surprise but it was.

Nice report by Mr. Newman.
