Asus Eee Smart Phone In the Works

Asus chairman Jonney Shih is a dreamer– and he’s envisioning a future full of screens on every wall in the house. To control them all, Shih wants a single smart phone, and he sees an ASUS logo on it. The low-cost Eee Phone will double as an “interactive control,” Shih told the New York Times. “The whole digital network is the key.” This was more or less a tiny comment amidst a larger story on Shih’s plans, so it came with no specifications, pricing or even a ballpark release date.
