Motion-Controlled Audio System Among JVC’s Newest

These days, who can be bothered to fumble for a power button? Thankfully, JVC’s UX-GN6 micro audio system can be turned on by waving a hand in front of it. Touch panel controls, including laser touch sliders for volume and CD track controls. Your iPod docks on top, and there’s even a video output for sending iPod movies and shows to your television. A USB jack is included for playing music from external hard drives. JVC has also introduced two other micro audio systems without all the fancy touch controls. The UX-LP5 has a flip-out front dock for the iPod, with the same video output capabilities as the UX-GN6, and the UX-G200 (not pictured) is a standard desktop system with audio and USB inputs plus a CD player and AM/FM radio.
