Google Earth Goes 3D in NYC

Less than two years ago, Google Earth’s satellite shots of the Big Apple resembled a flat urban wasteland with only a few 3D pop-ups, looking like some old version of Flight Simulator. You can even do a fly-through and observe the cityscape in its full, overcrowded glory. Is that my old apartment? [Google Earth Blog via CrunchGear]
