Developer Konomi has confirmed that a version of their famed Metal Gear franchise will be released for the iPhone and iPod Touch.  Metal Gear Solid Touch is currently in development, with a slated release in mid-Spring 2009.  While it may not have the graphics and immersion of a typical Metal Gear Solid game, iPhone/iPod Touch games have proven to be gems in their own right.  Enjoy, iPhoners.
