3M’s Microprojector Fits in Palms

Ah, those nerdy days of youth, setting up movie/gaming nights in the basement with a borrowed projector. This palm-sized microprojector from 3M would have made us so much cooler. The MPro 110 measures 4.5 inches long, 2 inches wide and 0.87 inches tall, fitting in the palm of most hands. Projected images and video can range from 6 inches to 50 inches in 640×480 resolution.

Before you get too excited for portable film screenings, keep in mind that the MPro 110’s battery only lasts for about an hour. There’s no word yet on what kind of batteries the projector uses, but AC power is also available. The MPro 110 will hit Hong Kong this month for the equivalent of roughly $400US.
