Sennheiser announces obnoxiously easy to lose headphones

Sennheiser has announced a new pair of high dollar headphones that appear to be designed for people who are interested in losing them. The wireless, band-less earbuds don’t have any special way of staying in your ears, and don’t have any cables to keep them with your iPod or other device while they’re not in use.  Its a good thing they cost $630 so you can easily replace them…

Besides the whole being easily lost and really expensive thing, the headphones are actually pretty sweet. Each bud has a 2.4GHz built-in wireless receiver and claims to be able to last a whopping ten hours on a single charge. Currently the phones are available only in Japan, no word on when or if we’ll see them here in the US. [via BoingBoing]
