the load noises of mum and dad telling me what to do, the teachers blabbering on about nothing, brothers moaning and the dog barking between the hours of 1 am to 5 am in the morning !! might actually get some sleep and peace and quite with these head phones.

Well I live in a Fraternity house and it gets loud sometimes, who woulda thunk it. Be kind of nice to have these headphones to block the nightly drunken stupiditry when i need to study, especially during finals.

I teach middle school science and have to "do lunch duty" 2x weekly. You can only imagine the noise of conversation of middle schoolers so excitted to be with their friends. I will be able to smile through the chaos of the cafeteria…….while listening to Tom Petty's breakdown!….oh ya!
