Casio’s 8.1 Megapixel W63CA Flip Phone

It’s rare for a flip phone to receive this kind of hype now a days with manufacturers trying to copy the proven iPhone form factor. Well, the W63CA is the wrench getting thrown into the proverbial works. Out now in Japan, Casio injects its proven camera experience into a two faced, uber-sexy flip phone. One side you’ll see what looks like a typical cell phone, yet upon a closer look the screen is a gorgeous 480 x 800 px, 3.1-inch OLED display. Now go ahead and turn the W63CA over and you’ll see what appears to be the trendy Casio Exilm camera. It rocks a wide-angle lens, 8.1-megapixel sensor, image stabilization, a YouTube video mode and 9-point autofocus. Check back for when/if it makes its way stateside. [via Engadget]
