Harmon Kardon GLA-55 Glass Speakers

These desktop diamonds have inspired a critical case of gearlust in us this morning…  The Harmon Kardon GLA-55’s are a pair of shaped glass speakers with some serious components and power behind them.  On an aesthetic level, we haven’t seen a prettier pair since we first saw Apple’s clear line of speakers almost a decade ago.  These glass beauties are juiced by 100W of bi-amped power with DSP equalization and touch-sensitive volume control.  All that power pushes Atlas AL drivers, woofers and a CMMD tweeter.  While these might be the prettiest pair we’ve seen yet, its safe to say that they’re as powerful as they are pristine…  [$999 at amazon via core77]
