AT&T HomeManager: Lusty Landline Goodness
As we mentioned back in August, on the news about the OpenFrame Home Phone System, landlines are slowly becoming en vogue again. Until this point, home phone systems have been pretty basic– you make a call, you hang up. With the OpenFrame and this news from AT&T, home phones are about to get a lot more serious. The AT&T HomeManager communication system is centralized in a 7″ touchscreen unit, shown above, that manages your calls, your contacts and provides a laundry list of web-connected information. The system also includes a classic handset and a wireless base system, providing for wide-reaching connectivity to your web-enhanced landline.
