They're intentional reproductions of classic mod furniture, just like the Eames Lounge and other works. And they're not made in Tokyo, they're made in Newport Beach, CA. I love modern furniture but I don't like paying a ton of money on getting them shipped to me from Tokyo, so I usually go to the [LINK REMOVED]. The have tons of designs and they ship it for free. Maybe look at the Herman Miller stuff too for some mid-century classic stuff too. These kind of look like the Eames stuff, only not as streamlined and clean.
