Wednesday StyleCrave: Ransom Spring/Summer 2008
Ransom Holding Co. is a boutique clothing store in Canada– West Toronto to be exact. They carry streetwear-savvy brands like ALIFE, Stussy, Maharishi, and label-less sneaker maker du jour Common Projects. Ransom’s general flavor is hip-hop/skater/hipster chic–limited edition sneaks, hoodies, and fitted caps. But, they also sell their own line, and the preview of their latest collection for spring/summer 08 is uniquely wearable, even if you’re not a skateboarding dj. Frosty (think cupcakes, not cold weather) pastels, crisp button-downs in stripes and checks, and breezy summer shorts. They top it off with a special edition New Era cap with the Ransom logo, another custom addition to the ever-impressive Ransom Fitted Shop. Unfortunately, for us yanks, the collection’s only available at their Toronto store. But, call ‘em up, most boutiques deliver these days. And, we all know Canadians have no qualms about moving goods across the border. Check up on new releases at the Ransom blog, and peep the rest of the freshness after the jump.
