You Wouldnt have to worry about a bomb hitting you because if it did you would be safe because those silos were built to withstand that kind of force. They are built completly on springs and rubber, even though all of that is 35+ years old.

That only means that the owner won’t hold the note for you. You could still get financing, but the seller would require full payment at closing and funding, just like most other real estate transactions.

You don’t have to imagine. The pics were taken at the Titan Missile Museum just outside of Tucson. (http://www.titanmissilemuseum.org/). I went a few years ago, it’s a great glimpse into the cold war and is the same silo seen in Wargames and one of the Star Trek movies.
